The Role

As a Commercial Disputes Solicitor, you will play a pivotal role in managing a diverse caseload of complex disputes across various sectors. Your responsibilities will be varied and include:

  • Working as part of a client team handling high-value and complex commercial disputes, contractual claims, and professional negligence cases.
  • Being responsible for your own varied caseload.  
  • Advising corporate and individual clients on risk management and dispute resolution strategies.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships through outstanding service and communication.
  • Contributing to business development initiatives and the continued growth of the Dispute Resolution team.

About You

The ideal candidate will be a confident and experienced litigator who thrives on tackling challenging cases and delivering successful outcomes. You should possess:

  • A minimum of 7 years PQE in Dispute Resolution, with a strong track record in working on complex and high value cases.
  • Exceptional analytical, drafting, and advocacy skills.
  • A client-centric approach, with the ability to provide practical, commercial advice.
  • Proven experience in supervising and developing junior lawyers.
  • Strong business development and networking abilities.
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
