National Minimum & Living Wage Increases from April 2025: Key Changes for Employers

From 1st April 2025, the National Living Wage (payable to workers aged 21 and above) will increase from £11.44 to £12.21 an hour. This represents an increase of 6.7%.

The National Minimum Wage payable to 18- to 20-year-olds will increase by 16.3%, being an increase from £8.60 to £10.00 an hour. 

The apprentice rate and the rate applicable to those under 18 years of age is also increasing from £6.40 to £7.55 an hour.
